The second annual OTF Dri Tri was another huge success!
The Orange Theory Fitness (OTF) studio located on Kapi‘olani Boulevard, hosted its second annual Dri Tri fundraiser in my honor and in support of the Golden West Chapter’s Walk to Defeat ALS.
I became a founding member of the OTF Kapiʻolani studio in 2017, working out at the studio 4 to 5 times a week. While I enjoyed many of the challenging special events, my favorite was the Dri Tri, which is a indoor triathlon. The event features a 2,000-meter row, 300 bodyweight exercises, and a 5K treadmill run.

Prior to my ALS diagnosis, I participated in every Dri Tri both in the solo category and in the team relay category. On Saturday, Sept. 24, OTF Kapiʻolani hosted a team relay Dri Tri to raise funds support of ALS research.

It was a full house of new and old friends competing in my honor to raise awareness and funds for ALS research. Big Mahalo to coach EK, coach Ryan, and studio manager Brooklynn and her team for organizing and creating such an energetic and successful event.

Y’all are AWSOME!
