The art pieces, collectibles, and other items featured on this page are what remain of the art José created or collected in the latter part of his adult life, apart from the items already distributed as directed by José through specific bequests and the online auction.
On September 12, 2025–on what would have been his 62nd birthday (and in accordance with his final wishes), we launched an online auction with the goal of raising funds for the Fajardo Student Internship Fund at Hawai‘i Public Radio. Anything unsold in the auction, plus a few additional pieces have been listed here.
See something that catches your eye? Message me or use the form at the bottom of this page to suggest a contribution and coordinate delivery. Your contribution will be added to the monies already raised. The first $5,000 will be directed to the Fajardo Student Internship Fund at Hawai‘i Public Radio, and any monies above that will be used to establish an account for the new Team José nonprofit created earlier this year.
TOTAL 2025 Auction CONTRIBUTIONS = $4,645.22
Additional contributions made since auction closed: $750
