From our early dating life through our travels, José and I shared a love of museums.
I think this was the first photo I took of him viewing art and it quickly became a thing. I have dozens of images like this of him in his “art viewing stance” – and while this first one was captured unbeknownst to him, it became an inside joke for us + the camera.

As of this moment, we’ve entered the final six hours of the aucti0n and I’m going to try to share a few more photos of him today along with the remaining art images.
I had grand plans to prep and schedule all of this out, but instead have been posting as we go and doing my best to roll with and enjoy the memories vs stress about any of it.
Also, this isn’t a one and done. This is the start… of exactly what I’m unsure (maybe no more aucti0ns ;). We’ll be able to add to the FAJARDO STUDENT INTERNSHIP FUND at HPR, share some of his art with folks who participated, and then take some time to reflect on what’s next.
